My second pair!

Pattern is Paraphernalia (ravely linky) and I used quite exatly 100g of Knot another knitting yarn bamboozle for these.

No 3 - for fun

I've started these long time ago and got the kick to finish both the first, start the second and finish it within only a few days. Wollmeise - of course.

My #1 and #2 pair of socks

The second pair is Nebula by Cookie A knitted in Bugga. I really love these socks

My first pair is made for fun, using leftover Wollmeise. No pattern, made it up as I knitted.

Le Bug is #4

My socks, Le Bug, is #4 ... Made in Wollmeise on needles 2,5 mm, and toe-up.

Someone suggested I could make the same pattern with black and yellow and have Bee Socks - great idea I will explore later this year :)
My #6 is finish today.
Merino Extra Fine on needle 3
Now I`m knitting on my Lizard Sock

Simple stripes and Wildflower target

hubby's socks2

My first pair is a simple pair of k2, p2 socks for Hubby.

wildflower target.

My second pair is done. I casted on for this late in May, and they've been laying around with just the toes and the targets left. So yesterday I pulled myself together and finished them. And I'm so happy with how they turned out :)
I've named them Wildflower target after the name of the yarn I've used for the targets.

Happy Knitting :)

I must be crazy...

I must be crazy. I signed up to do 52 pairs of socks in one year, yet I haven't even knit 52 pairs of socks in my life. I don't know what makes me think I can do it in a year, but I'm going to try. Here's my first pair:

fo butterflies b 060609

These were a kal sponsored by Wendy at Knitters Brewing Co.
They're knit with Trekking XXL in color 147 on 2.25mm KnitPicks circular needles.
The beads form a butterfly motif.

Edit: These were completed on June 6

Pair #3 & #4

So pair #3! We have here the Ric-Rac Rib pattern from the Little Box of Socks. The yarn is Cascade 220 Quatro. Knit on 3.75mm needles. Fun pattern, but the knitting into the back of the second stitch on the needle and then knit the first stitch as normal really hurt my hands.

Pair #4! We have Baby's First Sock by Ann Budd. Yarn is Sirdar Snuggly 4ply, and knit on 2.5mm needles. Fun, but starting the round with purl stitches hurts my brain. I didn't use the pattern on the sole of the foot because I wanted to stop the purling!
