If you have completed your 52 pair and not yet posted to this Blog please do so ASAP. The year will be up May 31st. In your post please state how many pair you were able to complete. There will be a few little surprises. You must have posted your socks to this Blog to have a little surprise sent to you. The elite who actually did complete their 52 pair will be entered in a drawing for a bigger surprise!

These are my 13th pair of socks.

The colours are from Gryffindor (Harry Potter).

I finished some preemie socks for a Charity Group but unfortunately I did not take any pictures.
The socks lying at home in Germany but we're in the USA for the next year so I will post the socks later.

Pair 3 finally finished. This has been a horrible year so far for sock making. I'm hoping to get more done after the holidays.

# 3 Torsade socks

Needle:US 2 / 2.75 mm

Yarn:Schachenmayr nomotta Regia Jacquard Color 4-ply / 4-fädig

#4 Clown socks

Needle: US 1½ / 2.5 mm

Yarn: Schachenmayr nomotta Regia Jacquard Color 4-ply / 4-fädig

#5 Havanna Cabled socks

Needle: US 1½ / 2.5 mm

Yarn: Schachenmayr nomotta Regia Havanna Color

#6 Simply toe-up socks

Needle: US 1½ / 2.5 mm

Yarn: Schachenmayr nomotta Regia Mosaik

All these pattern are improvised using basic sock pattern.

Pair #10

This pair is Devon, from Sock Innovation by Cookie A. It's knit in Trekking XXL that I overdyed with kool-aid.

Socks

I started these after frogging the first clue of the Mystery socks. Why, I don't know, but this pair had to become a pair of prayer socks. (Secret Prayer Sock Swap) The design is made by me and beside praying for my partner I also found comfort when I picked my knitting back up after the sudden passing of my pappa. A special pair they are...

I used CPY Panda Superwash Evening Blues (2 balls) and 350 meters in yardage went into this pair.

Number 9

Pair number 9 is Kiila. This was the May '09 mystery sock for the Sock Knitters Anonymous group on Ravelry.

A mystery for #8

Pair #8 was designed as a mystery for a knit-along in a german knitting group on Yahoo!
These were knit with Lana Grossa Meilenweit Cotton Stretch yarn.
I liked this pattern and will probably knit it again in another yarn.

Who doesn't love some Sunshine?

Pair #7 is another Cookie A design, Sunshine. These were knit with Trekking XXL yarn colorway 105

Cozy Socks

Pair #6 are Cozy Up Bed Socks, knit with Cascade 220 Superwash Paints. The design is by Rebecca Perry. This was one of the sock of the month kits from theknitter.com.

Pair #5

Pair #5 is Eunice, from Sock Innovation by Cookie A.
These were knit with Opal Cotton and were a gift for one of my cousins.
I started them July 1 and finished July 30.

The last pair of an ordered knit is ready. The yarn used is Trekking XXL Tweed, and for this pair of socks I used 390 whopping meters.
