It never took me that long

...to knit a pair of socks. This time Trekking XXL Tweed in black was used. It seems the colour black and I can't get along with each other, as I had to frog several times... plus the yarn in the center of the ball was entangled. I had to puzzle the knots out and that made me grumpy for sure. 350 meters were used for a 10" foot size.

Tweed socks

The first pair of a big order... they came ready yesterday. Trekking Tweed is the yarn I used for this pair... in blue. I like the way this yarn knits up.

Socks again

And the lucky recipient is our two year old son. They are worked in Crystal Palace Yarns Panda Superwash, I used 1 ball to create this pair, on needles US 2. The pattern is a freebie on Ravelry.

Third pair in the Plunge...

This is my third pair in the 52 pair plunge. A pair of socks for my two year old son. He wanted red socks and as I showed him some yarn, he chose this lovely yarn, from Drops Fabel. I made the pattern available for download as well...it is free.

Pair 2 done

I promised this pair to my daughter... they came ready yesterday evening. Unfortunately the weather here at the moment is sad... the socks are showing darker than they actually are.

I used Zauberball Stone Washed, 350 meter yarn went into this pair.

First pair for the Plunge

The first pair in the 52 pair plunge is ready. I like how it turned out now, as I had to frog the first sock. The pattern and I did not agree about the way it was done, so I shifted it one stitch. Problem solved.

I used 350 meter Regia 4 fädig.
